A little slice of the summer for you all this chilly December.

Friday 2 December 2022

It’s been a very busy few days here at Folk Festival HQ as we prepared to go on sale for our 2023 Festival. We’ve been thrilled by the incredible response and hope it will provide a little slice of the summer for you all this chilly December.

Our key focus is on sustainability.  To this end, we have some new initiatives to share:

Beginning in 2023, dedicated cycle parking will be available ON SITE at the festival!  So, anyone cycling to the festival will now have a place to park their bike onsite for the weekend. We were so proud to win the Greener Festival award for 2022 and adding options like this for our lovely customers will hopefully support all of our ongoing efforts to be more sustainable and to reduce environmental impacts.

The other exciting element we’re introducing is our Friend of the Festival Membership and by joining, you will help to sustain our waste and recycling efforts in 2023 and beyond. Working in harmony with the beautiful grounds we are fortunate enough to call home is imperative to the future of Cambridge Folk Festival. To find out more click here

We’ve also introduced a car park charge of £20 for anyone parking at Netherhall School that is designed to help secure the future of the festival and inspire carpooling which will reduce traffic and our carbon footprint.

We are also really pleased to say that for 2023 the alcohol policy will not change, so you will be able to bring in your own tipple to the festival.

There’ll be lots of exciting announcements in the coming months including line ups, activities and day tickets going on sale. Keep an eye on our social media accounts and website to stay up to date with all of the latest Cambridge Folk Festival news!
