PROGRAMME OFFICER
 
The Role:
Join our team as a Programme Officer, playing a pivotal role in the success of the Corn Exchange and Guildhalls. As part of the Programming Team, you will lead non-performance bookings, contributing to our corporate event planning programme. Liaising with high-profile clients and facilitating handovers with Venue Operations Teams you'll help to ensure flawless execution of events.

Your responsibilities will include advising on client requirements, monitoring hires' financial and quality outcomes, and proactively supporting ongoing financial sustainability and programme quality. This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.

Contract:  
Fixed Term/ Secondment for Maternity Cover
 
Salary:  
£34,834 to £39,186 per annum (City Pay Band 5), pro rata for part time.
 
Location: 
This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home.  You will be able to balance your work location accordingly.

Role: VENUE SUPERVISOR

The Venue Team are key to the customer experience and they ensure that all of our events are delivered to the highest standards, creating lasting memories of great nights out for all our customers.
 
This is a dynamic role where you will brief and supervise a small team of crew to ensure that the set up of the venue aligns with the requirements of the next event, often transforming the venue overnight. Your duties will include physical work such as moving chairs and tables, maintaining the cleanliness of our historic building and planning the logistics of individual events set up’s.
 
The Corn Exchange is not just the biggest venue in the area it is also the busiest. We put on a whole range of events from the latest bands to children’s theatre, from huge corporate events to graduation ceremonies, from classical concerts to raves, weddings, parties and conferences.

Working Pattern: 
To work some evenings and weekends.

Permanent

£27,334 - £29,777 (City Pay Band 3), pro rata for part time
