Events Officer
Are you interested in working on some of the city’s best and most loved events? Do you have the skills to create some memorable events and projects for the city residents?
The Role:
To be an active member of the City Events team, working with others to ensure that events are planned and delivered effectively, taking a lead role in the planning and delivery of allocated workstreams, and contributing to the longer-term planning for the programme.
To provide efficient and effective administrative and organisational support for the planning and delivery of the City Events programme.
To be the main point of contact for City Events enquiries and general event correspondence.
About You:
We are looking for an organised, resilient and committed member of staff to join the City Events Team. City Events deliver over 15 events and projects each year ranging from small projects to events with 25,000 attendees. The event series takes place throughout the year so having a strong administration, project management and time management skills.
The individual will need to be reliable, flexible and practical to enable a smooth operating City Events department and programme of events.

Role
Events Officer: City Events
Hours:
This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.
Although the role is advertised as full time, if you believe you have the skills and experience to join us and would like to discuss different working patterns, please do get in touch.
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekend work.
Contract:
Permanent
Salary:
£30,296- £33,945 per annum (City Pay Band 4) - Enhanced Rates for evenings and weekends
Location:
Parsons Court and Working from Home.
This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home. You will be able to balance your work location accordingly, however it is advised in this role for a 70% / 30% split, in favour of working in the office.
