Camping

There are several options available when deciding on campsites when booking Cambridge Folk Festival.

Cherry Hinton Campsite

Cherry Hinton Hall campsite is a beautiful 36 acre park complete with a duckpond, sculptures, lovely trees and a country house. The campsite is just a short walk from the main arena and all the Festival’s facilities and has a wonderful atmosphere. Also within the campsite is a managed kid's area and purpose build children’s paddling pool and playground, nearby wilderness area, catering, bars, craft stalls, stages, café, phone charging and free wifi throughout the site.

There are no showers on the Cherry Hinton site, instead the shower arrangement is as follows:

Cherry Hinton Village Leisure Centre
Dates and times campers can access shower facilities: 08:00 – 13:00, Thursday 25 July – Sunday 28 July 2024
Price: £3.50 per person (card payments only)

Coldham’s Common Campsite

The campground at Coldham’s Common is considered the ultimate folk festival experience as campers settle into the “100-acre living room” where music sessions and camaraderie are shared.

Coldham’s Common Campsite, which is more peaceful and child friendly, is situated approximately 1.5 miles from the main Festival site. Facilities include: on-site parking, showers, catering, family campsite entertainment; floor-singers’ stage, late night bar, craft stalls, phone charging, nearby local swimming pool and a shuttle bus service to the main Festival site at Cherry Hinton.
