Well-known Cambridge musicians Lucy Taylor and Jeremy Thurlow present a programme exploring the vagaries of the lovers’ tryst. Songs by Alma Mahler, Debussy, Strauss, Grieg, Sibelius, Schoenberg and Rebecca Clarke chart their course through a heady world of moonlit nights and sultry days, moving from fear and longing to jubilation, heartbreak and disenchantment and back again, with an occasional injection of humour.
