BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017, Scottish mezzo-soprano Catriona Morison has been praised in the New York Times for her ‘silky, lightly smoky tone, easygoing dramatic flair and unflappable poise’.

Equally at home on the opera stage or in the recital hall, tonight she will be presenting a glorious selection of songs by Mahler, Vellonnes, Brahms, Grieg and Fauré, accompanied by celebrated Lieder pianist Joseph Middleton, described in Classical Music Magazine as ‘one of the most talented, intuitive, collaborative pianists of his generation’.

“… a singer of much character, real musical intelligence.”
The Guardian

“Joseph Middleton: rightful heir to legendary accompanist Gerald Moore.”
