In celebration of Earth Optimism, a global movement bringing attention to conservation successes as a means for motivation and action, the Cambridge Conservation Initiative is screening Our Gorongosa: A Park For The People. Fronted by Dominique Gonçalves, a young Mozambican elephant ecologist, it’s the inspiring story of Gorongosa National Park and its innovative conservation model that’s as committed to benefiting the communities around the park – and in particular, the girls and women who live in them – as it is to the animals and wild ecosystems.
