Since winning the Kathleen Ferrier Awards, and being selected as a BBC New Generation Artist, mezzo-soprano Kitty Whately has been a regular guest at the finest musical centres. She returns to Pembroke College with Joseph Middleton, described in the New York Times as ‘the perfect accompanist’, ahead of their Wigmore Hall recital together later this spring. They perform a programme which includes Mahler’s Rückert Lieder, alongside songs by Alma Mahler, and English songs by Rebecca Clarke, Stanford, Judith Weir, Howells, Juliana Hall and Joseph Horowitz.
