This previously London-only event, will come to The Cambridge Union on Sunday October 2nd – a homage to the shared joys of Sunday, a one day mini festival, with speakers, performers, musicians & activities that bring the Sunday supplements to life. Indulge in Bloody Marys or Mimosas, listen to inspiring speakers, partake in guided walks, enjoy live music, have a massage or a shave. Children can have fun in the crèche or enjoy the music and activities on offer.
The Cambridge Union will be transformed into a relaxing home from home, bring your slippers and enjoy the perfect Sunday.
Line up includes, UK NEWS: Grainne McGuire, brilliant comedian and our host for the day, Anna Bassi, Editor of The Week Junior, WORLD NEWS: Middle East Broadcaster and Pulitzer Prize nominated writer Azadeh Moaveni, CULTURE: BBC Introducing artist, Lee Gordon. BUSINESS: Dr David Stillwell, Facebook data guru. FAMILY: Stand up and broadcaster/writer Liz Fraser. TRAVEL: Sarah Woods, adventurer and travel writer. SPORT: John Osbourne, performance poet and storyteller.
Family event – free crèche for the under 8s. Activities for older children.
