Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival Performance

The Cambridge Contemporary Choir Festival begins with a family-friendly singing session with Carrie Rawlings (The Collaboration Choir & Vocally Bespoke) at 10am. Then we’ll explore Musical Theatre, Rock and Gospel in another three sessions with talented vocal coaches: Pippa Collins (Jupiter Singers & London Show Choir), Jenny Deacon (Sweet Charity Choir & Alt Choir) and Lizzie Deane (Choral Nova, The Collaboration Choir & Get Gospel). The City of Cambridge will be alive with the sound of music all day as part of this brand new special event. 

 

There will be free pop up performances from local singing groups happening in and around The Corn Exchange all day.

 

In the evening the stage will be reset for Sweet Charity Choir, London Show Choir, The Collaboration Choir and the talented A Cappella group Sons of Pitches. They will all take to the iconic Corn Exchange stage for a celebration of all things ‘choir’ to be remembered. All four groups will be performing their vibrant original arrangements of well-known hits as part of this amazing choir showcase hosted by the legend that is Deke Sharon. If you sing in the shower, in a choir or just love listening to vocal groups you won’t want to miss this event. Come and celebrate the amazing human voice with us and make it a day for the whole family to remember!
