Internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble VOCES8 presents Sing Joyfully, a celebration of the joy and beauty of voices in harmony.

In praise of the European Day of Early Music, Bach’s birthday (‘Boureé’!) and the commencement of a joint education project ‘Roots’, ‘Joy and woe are woven fine’ in a programme including Byrd, Tallis, Victoria, Britten and Dove, with Monteverdi’s dramatic rendering of La Sestina at its centre-point. The programme includes a short presentation by students from the project ‘Roots’, delivered in partnership between Cambridge Early Music, Cambridgeshire Music, the Faculty of Music at the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University.
This event is now off sale, tickets for the unsighted antechapel will be available to buy on the door with cash.
