The Teskey Brothers today release their expansive third studio album The Winding Way – a seminal moment in the band’s illustrious catalogue that is both a testament to their artistic evolution and their most adventurous record to date. Led and guided by vocalist Josh Teskey and his brother, guitarist and engineer Sam Teskey, The Teskey Brothers return with a newfound clarity as they shake the shackles of conventionality and emerge with a record that captures their free and fearless spirit. Teaming up with Grammy/ARIA Award winning producer Eric J (Flume/St Vincent/Chet Faker) each track on The Winding Way bursts forth with an undeniable vitality. It is a record that will sit comfortably amongst the songbook greats.

The four-time ARIA award winners and GRAMMY® nominees are currently playing to sold-out crowds across UK & Europe (selling over 40,000 tickets), as well as summer festivals – including Glastonbury Festival and high profile support slots with Bruce Springsteen and Hozier. The band will tour North America throughout August, September & October, with shows selling fast.

Support: Liz Stringer

Liz Stringer is one of Australia’s most admired and versatile songwriters and instrumentalists. Hailing from Melbourne and recently located to London, Stringer counts seminal artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne and Midnight Oil (with whom she toured the world as backing vocalist and occasional instrumentalist between 2020 and 2022) as fans. Her most recent album, 2021’s First Time Really Feeling, released through Courtney Barnett's Milk! Records, won an Australian Independent Record Award and debuted at #14 on the ARIA charts in her home country. Stringer recorded the follow-up full-length album in Brixton, London in Summer 2023 with award-winning UK-based producer Beni Giles. Due for an early 2025 release, this record sees her lean further into her influences not yet explored in her recorded music, including soul, funk and jazz, marking a musical departure while maintaining her extraordinary storytelling at the heart of each track. Liz Stringer’s notoriously powerful live performances and melodically rich, story-based songs have earned her a unique place among the most important Australian songwriters of the modern era and she is thrilled to join friends and fellow Melbournians The Teskey Brothers for ten dates across the UK and Europe in August and September this year.
