If you hold tickets to an event postponed or cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak, please be aware our Box Office phone lines are not available at this time.

Rest assured your tickets are protected and we will contact you in due course about your options for a refund or, where available, re-booking to another date.

Becoming a Greener Festival

  • Bring your own reusable water bottle - drinking water available on site!
  • Always separate your recyclable waste from general waste
  • Bring your own bag – plastic bags never fully biodegrade
  • Walk or cycle to the event. Where it is not possible, please use public transport or lift share.
  • Ask food vendors for compostable plates and cutlery
  • Use mobile apps and websites for information instead of printed brochures
  • Don’t forget your chairs and rubbish when you leave
  • Properly dispose of any cigarette butts

Big Weekend Charity Stalls Application

The Big Weekend is an annual community festival held on Parkers’ Piece, Cambridge, providing three days of free family entertainment. On the Sunday of the Big Weekend there will be an opportunity for local charities to promote their charity, sign up new members and/or fundraise by selling merchandise and other small items. We are seeking applications from charities interested in a pitch in the Charity Stall Marquee.

Mela Trader Application

Sunday of the Big Weekend is the Cambridge Mela, celebrating Asian culture, music, dance and craft, with music on the main stage, community performances in the marquees, dance, workshops, children and family activities, and a Mela Market area. We are seeking applications for people interested in a pitch in the Mela Market area.
