Cambridge Mela

The Cambridge Mela 2020

We are sorry to share the news that this summer’s Big Weekend has been cancelled.

The Cambridge Mela takes place on the Sunday of the Big Weekend each year and is a celebration of Asian culture including music and dance from top national, international, and local acts, arts and crafts, delicious food and workshops and performances from the local community.

The safety of the public, as well as the artists, staff and crew who work on the Big Weekend, is our top priority. The situation around coronavirus has been changing rapidly in the past days and weeks and, unfortunately, under the circumstances it is becoming too difficult to plan, prepare and deliver an event on the scale of the Big Weekend whilst keeping everyone safe.
