We are pleased to announce the much-loved Music in the Parks series is back for 2023, so come celebrate this summer in Cambridge in musical style! The programme of free Sunday afternoon, concerts beginning on July 9, is open to all and will take place on beautiful green open spaces throughout the whole city.
Organised by Cambridge City Council, the music events are generously sponsored once again by lead sponsor Graduate Cambridge hotel continuing last summer’s successful partnership, with support also this year from supporting sponsors, Cambridge BID, Cambridge Water and High Sheriff’s Fund via Cambridgeshire Community Foundation.
Music in the Parks is a highlight in the city’s summer calendar, with people enjoying the opportunity to get together in their local parks and recreation grounds while relaxing and listening to live afternoon music in the company of friends and family!
Featuring more concerts than ever, Music in the Parks promises to be extra special this summer, with eight music events taking place on various Sundays from July 9 through to September 17. From the infectious and irresistible ska dance rhythms of Cambridge’s massively popular Big 10, sophisticated funk and pop, mesmerising multi-voiced choral creations, and the warm strains of brass on a summery breeze…these will be essential weekly dates in the diary, easy-going outdoor Sunday afternoons of music and all for free!
The majority of the concerts take place between 3pm-5pm (all events include toilet facilities and some chairs, however please bring your own if possible).  It would be lovely to see you at one, if not all, of our Music in the Parks concerts this Summer!
(Please be aware we will be taking marketing photos at each of our summer events. You can review the official Cambridge City Council Photo and video privacy notice HERE)
