Somersham Town Band is a traditional brass band based in Somersham, a village 5 miles North of St Ives in Cambridgeshire. We are keen and enthusiastic amateurs who give our time freely for the joy of making music together in a relaxed and friendly environment.
We play a wide variety of music from across the genres and give around 20 performances a year at local venues. In addition to the main band, we also have a training band that provides both young persons and adults the opportunity to learn to play a brass musical instrument. The Band has a range of instruments available to loan at no cost to members.
Whether you are already an accomplished player, are looking to return to playing or an absolute beginner wanting to learn you will receive a warm welcome at Somersham Town Band.
