Wimpole Park captures moments in time over the last 500 years of turbulent history. These moments are not captured as paintings or photographs but as subtle undulations in the Wimpole turf – undulations that also form memorials to the lives of the everyday people who made their living from this land. Angus will explore some of the events and personalities that have shaped the landscape we know today. The talk will be followed by a walk in Wimpole Park to look at some of the evidence of the ground.
