In a cross between the BBC’s With Great Pleasure and Desert Island Discs, Dr Rowan Williams – former Archbishop of Canterbury and now Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge, and Dr John Rutter – composer, conductor and former Director of Music at Clare College, share their love of choral and other music with each other and recall the musical experiences that have shaped their lives.
 
Illustrated by readings and recordings of some of their favourite pieces this promises to be a delightful encounter between two much-loved and venerated Cambridge figures.
