Oliver’s latest book, The Boy – His stories and how they came to be (Hardback £25) will be available to purchase on the day. This hardback gift-edition is a collection of four of Oliver’s much-loved modern classics, including a captivating behind-the-scenes look at the making of each in four fascinating sketchbook sections. The Boy contains the following stories:

•             Lost and Found

•             The Way Back Home

•             Up and Down

 

Also within the pages of this exquisite collection is a special letter from Oliver and more than 100 wonderfully distinctive sketches, notes and ideas, carefully chosen from his archives and revealed here for the first time.

To date, he has sold more than eight million copies worldwide and his books have been translated into forty-five languages.  Oliver has been the recipient of many high-profile awards, including the Nestlé Children’s Book Prize Gold Award, the Blue Peter Book of the Year and the Irish Children’s Book of the Year. Oliver’s critically acclaimed 2017 picturebook, Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth sold more than 600,000 copies and became a New York Times and Sunday Times Bestseller.
