Do you enjoy classical guitar music, Tango or Latin-American music?  Then you will love this recital by Maximo Diego Pujol.

M.D. Pujol is one of Argentina's foremost players and composers of music for the classical guitar. Much of his music is based on Argentine folk music; one of his particular interests is an ever-closer fusion of traditional Argentine Tango and formal academic concepts, similar to that found in the works of Heitor Villa-Lobos and Leo Brouwer. As a player, he has given concerts and masterclasses widely across South America, Europe, Australia and the US.

In this solo recital, he will be playing his own compositions as well as music by three of the "Fathers" of the Argentinian Guitar: Atahualpa Yupanqui, Eduardo Falu and Abel Fleury.

During his visit to Cambridge, Pujol is also giving guitar master classes and a talk on History of Tango. For details on participating in any of these events, email pujolcambridge@gmail.com
