The Library Presents: Marionette Making Workshop

Come and make a puppet with the Young People’s Puppet Theatre, over a series of four workshops. You will be taught all the skills you need to create a professional-looking nine-string marionette. You will learn clay sculpting, painting, costume making and stringing, as well as how to use your puppet at the end of the series. The workshop is open to adults and children. Children under 12yrs may need extra help from the adult attending with them to produce a finished marionette puppet. Participants can take home materials to work on between sessions.
