Fizz & Fortifieds Fair

Sip your way through the Champagne region, tour to Italy to try our delicious range of proseccos and spumantes, then travel back up north to taste some of the fabulous fizzes that we produce here in England, all in one location: our CUC Wine Bar. We will have a delectable and diverse range of sparkling wines for you to sample. Perfect timing too, just ahead of the Christmas and New Year festivities, when you are looking for something bubbly to enjoy with seasonal celebrations.

In addition, we will be showing some of the highlights in our fantastic fortified wine range. Join us to explore the hugely varied styles of port, from tawny and ruby to vintage and late bottled vintage: there will be something for everyone. We will also be displaying some of our superb sherries: often under-rated and unfairly so. From the super dry and salty Manzanillas through to the rich and sweet PX style, you will undoubtedly find something that you enjoy. Madeira and Marsalas will be available to try too and we highly recommend branching out and savouring some of these lesser-drunk tipples.

The £30 ticket includes the entry fee, samples of all of the wonderful fizz and fortifieds which we will be showcasing (over thirty products), and a cheese and meats platter. Other food options are available for vegetarians, vegans and other dietary requirements by prior request - please contact us in advance so as to avoid disappointment. Over-18s only (you may be asked to show a valid ID document if you appear to be 25 or under). The venue has step-free access and a disabled WC. Free water and spittoons will be available on request.

Tickets may be transferred but are non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
