To complement our display of John Keat’s autograph masterpiece Ode to a Nightingale in Gallery 3, we have paired up with Enchanted Cinema to present a special screening of Bright Star.

Ben Whishaw and Abbie Cornish lead in this romantic drama. Directed by Jane Campion (The Piano, 1993) Bright Star charts the three-year romance between 19th-century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne near the end of his life.
Enter by the Courtyard entrance.
Museum is open all day and from 17.00. Enjoy seasonal treats in our café and catch up on pre-Christmas shopping with cards and decorations.
Film screening in Gallery 3 from 18.30-21.00. Enter via Gallery 6. Seating is unallocated and food and drink cannot be taken into the screening in Gallery 3.
