“Eat well beforehand or you’ll be in tummy-rumbling, tongue-hanging-out agony as the merry band cook their way across America. Good fun and happy, filling fare.” - EMPIRE

Jon Favreau directs and stars in Chef a film all about the joys of food, travelling and starting up a business built on passion.

This film is a must-see for every foodie! With a great soundtrack and a feel-good story, join Enchanted Cinema and Thirsty for an evening of local street food, drinks and outdoor cinema at Thirsty’s Biergarten on Riverside.

Enchanted Cinema are back. With 2 years of sell out events already under their belts, this summer alongside their summer season at The Orchard Tea Gardens in Grantchester, they’ve struck up a very exciting collaboration with Thirsty.

Thirsty’s brand new site in Cambridge has become a favourite weekend spot for lovers of craft beers, local street food and live music. The beer garden is open to from 5PM where you’ll find all your favourite food trucks namely Provenance Kitchen, Steak & Honour, Wood Fired Pizza, Churros Bar. You’ll also find posh coffee + cakes from new traders. There are always one or two more foodie surprises in store too.

Enchanted Cinema will be open to ticket holders from 8.30PM and you’ll be able to go between your deckchair and the beer garden to top up your drinks and grab some more delicious food to enjoy during the film.

Drink in one hand and some popcorn on my lap, reclined in a deckchair… my sort of movie night.” - Samuel Benjamin Harris, Artist

Love the emphasis on everything being so ‘Cambridge’. Everything was so fabulous, can’t wait to bring my friends again this summer.” - Londiwe Ncube, Stylist

With a great selection of features, passionate support of local creatives and an abundance of popcorn, this team of friendly film lovers guarantee their audience a unique experience: enjoying the stars on and above the silver screen as the summer sun sets. To simply say it’s enchanting is a cop-out, but a genuine one nonetheless.” - Jonathan Howard, JHFilm
