Nightclub sensation Velma (Catherine Zeta-Jones) murders her philandering husband, and Chicago's slickest lawyer, Billy Flynn (Richard Gere), is set to defend her. But when Roxie (Renée Zellweger) also winds up in prison, Billy takes on her case as well -- turning her into a media circus of headlines. Neither woman will be outdone in their fight against each other and the public for fame and celebrity.

“Rob Marshall's screen version of the near-venerable show looks great, in its razzly-dazzly neo-Fosse way, and sounds good, especially when Renee Zellweger's gorgeous Roxie Hart is singing her heart out.” Wall Street Journal

Enchanted Cinema is back for its 7th-year of inner-city cinematic magic. We return this year to one of our favourite venues, The Gonville Hotel’s magical gardens. Just off Parkers Piece, our installation garden screen has moved to the rear hidden garden of the Gonville hotel, with beautiful intimacy, and we will be collaborating further with the hotel to offer a one of a kind experience with outdoor (and undercover) drinks and food in an upmarket setting. Come along to a private, enchanting cinema area just for our customers, where you will experience live music ahead of the screening.

Seating is not allocated so be sure to arrive in advance to choose your deckchair. We are a rain or shine event so if the Great British weather surprises us and the skies open, the show will go on!

Sit back in a deckchair, fresh popcorn and a drink in hand, and experience cinema as you never have before this summer…
