Following two triumphant years of all day live rock music raising money for mental heath charities and staged in memory of local rocker Richard East.
This year, East Fest are proud to announce a specially curated line-up that equally represents a wealth of talent across the rock spectrum. Artists include:

Bootleg Boss, the Europe’s most prominent Bruce Springsteen Tribute band, gives the ultimate authentic Springsteen experience, Blood, sweat and tears, emotional and a perfect celebration of the Boss's legacy.

Boneyard, High quality Rock and Metal covers from a Pro band, from the 80's and beyond.

Red Flag, Young local Rock band, just starting out in the Business, playing original Rock and covers, give them some support!

Big in Brazil, a fantastic rock and pop covers from a band always on the road delivering great songs with style and vigour!

Black Lightning, a band formed by Mark Jackson and Richard East[who the festival is in honour of]Blues Rock, with songs from their critically acclaimed 'Blue highways' album.

6AM Saint, original Punk/Metal from Cambridge based high energy, anthemic young band making waves in the local scene.

East Fest is a fun day out for the family and all rock fans, this charity event brings together some of the best rock bands in Eastern England on a five-acre site with full catering and amenities. Gates will open at noon and six bands will rock through from 1pm until 11pm. This one-day event will feature Rock and Blues with covers & originals and tracks old & new catering for all tastes and ages. With under-18s free, tickets are £15 each (plus booking fee) in advance or £20 on the door. Hotel rooms, Overnight parking and free camping are available.

EastFest 2022 follows the previous 2021, 2019 EastFest’s were staged in memory of Cambridgeshire rocker Rich East who tragically took his own life following illness and depression in 2018. A true rock aficionado and great musician, Rich was a devoted family man and well known throughout the rock scene. The regional rock community are coming together once again to celebrate Rich’s life in style and at high volume.

All proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Life Craft. Lifecraft is a user-led organisation for adults in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough area who have experience of mental health difficulties in their lives. They offer a wide range of free mental health services to help and support our Members in their wellbeing and recovery. Our services include creative activities, recovery groups, social activities and employment and volunteering opportunities. We also have an Information Hub, a counselling service, a suicide bereavement support service, and Lifeline, a telephone helpline that runs 365 days a year. | Registered Charity: 1195632

East Fest was founded by local rock legend Mark Jackson, a dear friend of Richard East. Mark is widely known as founder and lead singer Medicine Hat, who had several hit singles, and toured the world. Mark plays on the day in the band Black Lightning, a band formed by Mark Jackson and Richard East.

With East Fest come and join us for an eclectic mix of hard rock, southern Blues, old favourites and much more.

On the A505 road, this traditional pub and hotel is 3.7 miles from the Imperial War Museum in Duxford and 4.2 miles from Junction 10 of the M11 motorway. Cambridge is 16 miles away.
