We’re delighted to welcome back the celebrated artist Maggi Hambling, who has been central to the story of painting in this country for decades, to the festival. She’ll be discussing the work of her father, the visionary Suffolk artist Harry Hambling (1902–98), and the publication of a long-awaited, lavishly-illustrated book, A Suffolk Eye – written with Jamie Gilham and with contributions from Andrew Lambirth and George Melly – which brings together his works for the first time. In conversation with Luke Syson, Director and Marlay Curator, The Fitzwilliam Musuem
