Lunchtime Concert: Karolos
Monday 9 July 2018, 1.10pm
Emmanuel United Reformed Church

Harriet Mackenzie  violin
Sarah Jane Bradley viola
Graham Walker cello

Mozart  Divertimento in E flat

All three members of  Karolos are internationally renowned soloists and recording artists in their own right. Today, they are performing Mozart’s Divertimento in E flat, his masterpiece for string trio.

String quartets often come across this wonderful work when one of their violinists fails to turn up for a rehearsal – and quickly discover that its six, superbly crafted movements merit a prominent place in any chamber music programme.

“ Karolos gave a hugely inspiring and stunning evening of music. These three world class soloists have created the most exquisite ensemble with a rich sound and remarkably intuitive playing.”
Amanda Cook, Artistic Director, Amici Series, Festival of Chichester, 2016
