Join us for an afternoon with the much-loved Dame Jacqueline Wilson and discover how she started her writing career, how she created some of her best-loved characters as well as hearing about her brand new book, Love Frankie. Frankie is nearly fourteen and teenage life certainly comes with ups and downs. Her mum is ill, and Frankie can feel herself growing up quickly, no thanks to Sally and her gang of bullies at school. But when Sally turns out to be not-so-mean after all, Frankie starts to wonder whether the feelings she has for Sally are stronger than her other friendships. Might she really be in love? Please note that there will be no book signing after this event but printed bookplates with Jacqueline’s signature will be available from the bookshop.
