‘These histories have not always been visible, but they have always been there.’

From queens, emperors, and divine beings to artists and local collectors explore the spectrum of identities that exist across time, place and culture in Fitzwilliam Museum.

Our volunteer guides share their personal selection of fascinating stories about gender and sexual identity through a range of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer-related objects.
