British baritone James Newby is the winner of the 2016 Kathleen Ferrier Award, a BBC New Generation Artist and Orchestra of the Age of the Enlightenment Rising Star. Following his first season with Glyndebourne Festival Opera he was presented with the prestigious John Christie Award. This season he performs twice at Wigmore Hall with Joseph Middleton who appears as Featured Artist at Wigmore Hall for the 2018-19 season as well as curating two week-long series for BBC Radio 3. Middleton is College Musician at Pembroke College, Cambridge.
