The Cambridge-based Academy of Ancient Music is renowned worldwide for its inspiring performances of baroque and classical music. Its players revel in the expressive power of their period instruments and aim to recreate the style and spirit in which this music was first performed. Over the past 40 years AAM has played to audiences on six continents and this season undertake an extensive tour of the US and Canada.

Following the great success of their concert at last year’s Festival they return this year with an exquisite programme of Bach and Vivaldi.  Two gorgeous cantatas for soprano voice, and one orchestral Sinfonia by Bach, complement a concerto for strings and another for oboe by Vivaldi.
