Light Painting workshop with Lucinda Price Photography

This workshop, which is run as part of the e-Luminate Cambridge Festival, is a great introduction to photography and is being led by a professional photographer, Lucinda Price (www.lucindaprice.com).

This introductory course is all about getting creative with your camera and using light to paint with. You will also learn how you can use the way your camera reacts to light to create stunning effects. See the effects on the back of your camera straight away!

Take a look here to see images from last year’s session.

Important information about the sessions:
It is required that participants bring their own camera with the ability to manually control the shutter speed, ideally tripods and a light source to paint with (for example, torches, bike lights, or mobile phones) although some will be provided.

There are only 30 places in each session for this popular event: come and play with light to create stunning pictures!

First session: 4 - 6pm

Whilst everyone is welcome to both sessions, this session will be aimed at complete beginners and novices - learn how to control your camera on manual settings as well as create some fun light painting images.

Second session: 6.45 - 8.45pm

Whilst everyone is welcome, this session will be aimed at those who are a little familiar with manual settings, and able to control ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed. There will be a little bit more time to play with the light painting in this session.
