CAMBRIDGE LIVE ANNOUNCES ‘ALL THE YOUNG DUDES’
– A NEW ROCK & POP ART EXHIBITION

Cambridge Live has announced details of a brand-new Rock & Pop art exhibition entitled All The Young Dudes, which will take place at the Cambridge Guildhall in September.

The exhibition will feature sculptures, photography, paintings and light depicting some of rock’s most iconic and best-loved names.

The exhibition, which takes place on Saturday 2 September, will feature pieces celebrating the likes of David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Bob Dylan, Syd Barrett, The Beatles, Motorhead, Amy Winehouse, Lemmy and many more.

Cambridge Live has teamed up with Spadge Hopkins, one of the artists responsible for Cambridge’s official Syd Barrett commemorative artwork, to present the exhibition which will also showcase some of the finest artists from the region. Some items on display will also be available to purchase.

Curating the exhibition, Spadge Hopkins said: 'The opportunity to work with Cambridge Live again is very exciting.  The whole vibe of their organisation and events is inspiring and complements the subject matter of the exhibition perfectly.'

Neil Jones, Operations Director for Cambridge Live added: 'The Syd Barrett artwork permanently housed at the Cambridge Corn Exchange, has really captured the public’s imagination for rock and pop art. All The Young Dudes will build on that interest to showcase some of the amazing regional talent whilst also celebrating some of the most iconic acts.'

Entry to All The Young Dudes is free. A full list of contributing exhibitors will be announced soon.
