Steeped in music, Damien O’Kane grew up in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, with a deep respect and understanding of the folk tradition, yet which also forged a healthy appetite to explore its broadest borders and test its boundaries. In addition, over the course of another extraordinary musical career, multi-instrumentalist Ron Block has been something of a harmonious Huck Finn, a tireless adventurer exploring various styles yet rooted firmly in the bluegrass-country tradition. Together, the pair perform a unique blend of folk rock bound to captivate any audience.
