‘There’s nothing folkier than sitting around a table, sharing stories and jokes and taking turns to sing or play an instrument. It’s a way to spend an evening that is lost on this busy city, and a traditional way of life we have a lot to learn from’
- Evening Standard 2017 Festival Review
We love people bringing their instruments to Cambridge Folk Festival. The Festival has always been a place where some of the best music is taking place in the campsite, the Sessions Café or the Guinness Bar as well as the main stages. At the festival we encourage festival goers to continue the music after the acts on the main stage have packed up for the night. So bring your instrument, be it a bodhran, guitar, fiddle or triangle and enjoy the session.
More info on the 2020 Festival coming over the next few months.
