Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet returns to Cambridge Corn Exchange this new year with a spectacular Tchaikovsky Trilogy - The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Under the expert direction of Marina Medvetskaya, this acclaimed company combines classical training and technique with outstanding soloists to entertain audiences in breath-taking style. A full orchestra complements the classical purity of the dancing and traditional staging, to bring a taste of imperial Russia to the UK.

Music: Pyotr Tchaikovsky

Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet’s brand new staging of the fairytale ballet, The Sleeping Beauty, is a feast for the senses.  Tchaikovsky’s glorious score sets the scene for the enchanting and romantic story of Princess Aurora who is rescued from a deep sleep by her valiant Prince.  Wicked Carabosse and the beautiful Lilac Fairy are joined by a host of fairytale characters in this delightful production

“The dancing is enchanting and danced with such perfection…exquisite costumes…breathtaking.” - Bromley Borough News
