Musical master of ceremonies Jools Holland and his much loved Rhythm & Blues Orchestra return to the Corn Exchange as part of their 2016 Autumn/Winter UK tour.

Renowned as one of the UK’s most popular tours, now in it’s 21st year, these shows will this year feature special guests The Selecter’s Pauline Black and Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson. The Selecter released their debut album ‘Too Much Pressure’ in 1980 and it still remains a milestone in British music history. Vocalists Pauline Black and Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson relaunched The Selecter in 2011 and have been entertaining audiences throughout the country with their incredible live performances which includes the show stopping ‘On My Radio’.

The shows will once again feature the astounding vocals of Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall along with a new addition, the rich soulful tones of Beth Rowley. Beth is known for her love of Blues and Gospel and her top ten debut album ‘Little Dreamer’ which was nominated for a BRIT Award.

Together with the inimitable musicianship of the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra which features the drums of original Squeeze member Gilson Lavis, Jools Holland will be performing tracks spanning his entire solo career as well as songs taken from his latest album Jools & Ruby, released in December 2015. With a catalogue that reaches through decades, a night with Jools Holland will bring you the greatest boogie-woogie party in town!
