TV’s favourite choirmaster, Gareth Malone, brings his brand new choral extravaganza to Cambridge Corn Exchange this November. A uniquely intimate tour of just 6 dates Gareth will take you on a journey of musical discovery celebrating the diversity of the music that inspires him as well as showcasing new and original music of his own.
Gareth will be joined on stage by the five-time Grammy award winning acapella group, The Swingles. Known for their undeniable talent & phonic gymnastics, for more than half a century The Swingles have pushed the boundaries of vocal music. The seven young singers that make up today’s London-based group are recognised as true masters of their craft.
‘…subtle beatboxing and audacious harmonies... superhero singing to truly raise goosebumps.’ The Guardian
Also joining Gareth will be the awe inspiring Ayoub Sisters. Discovered by Mark Ronson, The Scottish – Egyptian multi-instrumentalist sisters are being heralded as the new sound and faces of the classical and crossover worlds. Their innovative way of performing sees them rewriting the rules for how Cello and Violin are played, swapping instruments, using loop stations, they are truly a dynamic duo and must be seen to be believed.
‘The word ‘incredible’ is overused but good grief, The Ayoub Sisters are exactly that...look out for them!’  Classic FM
Performing with musicians like The Swingles and The Ayoub Sisters, this is the perfect opportunity to spend an evening with Gareth completely in his element, playing piano, bass, guitar and maybe even a little bit of ukulele, join us for this truly one-off musical experience.
