The opening concert of the Festival will feature Dark Room, a multi-sensory journey through darkness to the light, performed by New York dancer Giorgia Bovo with Jazz pianist Andrea Manzoni and projection artist Simone Bosco. Also performing is Cambridge’s groundbreaking musical collective, We Are Sound will use 120 voices and instruments to get under the skin of some of the world’s best tracks in collaboration with projection artist Jack Beccegato.
 
Light festival e-Luminate Cambridge has been dazzling spectators and delivering high quality light installations since 2013. The 2017 festival will run from Fri 10 - Wed 15 Feb, marking the 5th anniversary of this popular event. The historic city of Cambridge with its stunning architecture provides the perfect backdrop for e-Luminate Cambridge, an event at the forefront of art and technology. During six exceptional evenings, the festival offers the public a truly unique winter spectacle. Ephemeral light art installations play with the richness and diversity of the urban landscape, transforming everyday buildings and spaces for a few short hours into something extraordinary and magical.
