Rizing Games

The Rizing Games aspect of the Gaming Hub, run by students and lecturers at Cambridge Regional College, gives visitors the chance to try their hand at games design as well as test out some video games.

Rizing Games is run by students at Cambridge Regional College and is part of the BTEC Level 3 Computer Games Development course. Students study the various aspects of games development such as Animation, Modelling, Programming, Sound and Concept Art.

Ever wanted to have a go at coding? Why not come and have a go at Raspberry Pi's free and fun drop in coding workshop this Saturday and Sunday in the Gaming Hub. You can also out more about how the Raspberry Pi Foundation puts the power of computing and digital making into the hands of people all over the world.


Philharmonia Orchestra Virtual Orchestra

Venture inside the Philharmonia Orchestra as they perform an extract of Sibelius’ Fifth Symphony with this state-of-the-art virtual reality experience. Sit on stage with the Orchestra and be transported to London’s Royal Festival Hall in our ambisonic audio and 3D visual recording.

  • For health and safety reasons, the virtual reality is suitable for users of age 7 and above
  • The virtual reality is an immersive virtual reality experience and can elicit strong emotional and physiological responses
  • Some people may experience motion sickness, nausea, disorientation, blurred vision or other discomfort while viewing virtual reality content. If you experience any of these symptoms, please alert a member of staff prior to using the virtual reality
  • The virtual reality is not suitable for sufferers of epilepsy, seizures, convulsions; anyone who takes medication to prevent them; or has a history of blackouts or fainting
