Community Events Administrative Support Assistant
Cambridge City Council is delighted to be supporting the Kickstart Scheme and are very pleased that you have taken an interest in this opportunity to join us on the Kickstart programme.
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a customer-centred individual who has good knowledge of IT processes and systems such as email, word processing, mail merge, spreadsheets/ databases, social media and updating of websites.
You will join our team to assist in the administrative tasks for event planning and will provide general office support, working with both internal and external groups. This is a community focussed role and you will have wide ranging opportunities to use your problem-solving skills along with your attention to detail and adaptability.
We will look to you to assist in marketing events and the development of community led workshops. In addition you will provide direct support at public events which will include communicating with members of the public, artists and event organisers.
If you’re proactive, forward thinking and want to deliver an excellent service then this could be the role for you.
Please note that to be eligible for the Kickstart Scheme you must meet the following criteria:
- Age 16-24
- Claiming Universal Credit
- In receipt of no other earned income
